Assistant/Associate/Professor of Accountancy

SHORT DESCRIPTION SUMMARIZING POSITION FUNCTIONS
Teach and conduct research in Accountancy.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Conduct research in Accountancy.
• Senior faculty are expected to provide leadership in the department, the university, and in the Accountancy discipline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidates at advanced ranks must possess a PhD degree; candidates for assistant professor must possess or be near completion of a PhD degree.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness, strong research and leadership potential commensurate with position sought.

SALARY
Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

APPOINTMENT STATUS 
Tenure-Track

Clinical Professor

SHORT DESCRIPTION SUMMARIZING POSITION FUNCTIONS
The Department of Accountancy at the University of Illinois seeks to fill a Clinical Professor position in the auditing, tax or financial reporting areas for the 2014-2015 academic year.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
• Conduct research in Accountancy.
• Expected to provide leadership in the department, the university, and in the Accountancy discipline.
• Advance intellectual environment through scholarly service.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Candidates should have extensive practice experience, preferably at the national level in public accounting or in the c-suite in industry.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and leadership potential.
• The minimum degree requirement is a Master’s.

SALARY
Salary will be commensurate with rank and experience.

APPOINTMENT STATUS 
Non-Tenure-Track
